I love classic ticking stripes in classic blue. I bought some a while back and decided to make myself a new checkbook cover with the adored fabric. Then I realized my friend has a birthday coming up, and she loves ticking stripes too, so guess what she's getting for her bday?! You got it - a new checkbook cover. She's the kind of friend who is always crafting and sewing, and I'm hoping she'll love her present. This is actually my checkbook, and her cover is even nicer - I did a better job on the pattern and the sewing. I wrapped it up in a vintage hanky and included a little kraft paper card.
