Food and awesome trinkets

I had the pleasure of heading up to Seattle for work for a short two day stint.  We don't travel first class (or even business class), we share rooms, and it's hardly glamorous, but I work with a bunch of foodies, so we typically eat very well.  And part of my job is to be out in the world, picking up on what's cool and beautiful.  While in Seattle, I went to an amazing retail/restaurant/bar space in Capitol Hill.  I admit I didn't eat at Sitka and Spruce, but it was such an amazing building that I could have stayed all day

I didn't buy anything too exciting (save a few clothing samples for work), but I found some adorable twine for wrapping up gifts and packages and a bevy of letterpress cards.  Check out egg press.

The road

I left again on Monday for another work trip.  Unfortunately, Olive hasn't yet learned to talk on the phone so R placates me by sending photos of our little stinker.  I think she is particularly adorable in this one...

Our stinker

While I was away, I caught this gal enjoying a bask in the sun in downtown Boulder:
